An ad is a message intended to publicize a product, event, or similar in any media, currently the ads are targeted to promote products, goods and services with an economic purpose. That's how the classified ads arise.

The use of the Internet in order to publish classified ads is a fairly economical alternative, related to the extent that this has on the target audience, unlike the classified ads in a newspaper or on TV where the message reaches all audiences alike, the Internet message reaches only those who are interested in the product, the target audience. This marketing system benefits both seller and customer, the seller because he spent less on advertising than necessary because usually this type of advertising is free and is intended only to people who are more likely to buy the product or service that is the target audience, and also benefits the buyer because this one will have to deal only with ads of his interest.
Another advantage of online classifieds is that the internet has different tools and audiovisual media. Buyers will be able to see the product or service purchased through these ads that includes some picture and/or a video, something that in other media would mean a considerable increase in cost.
